This chrome 2-tab front mudguard stay is suitable for fitment to the front fenders of the 1973-1974 Triumph Tiger, Bonneville, and Trident 750 disc brake models.
Built to original specifications in the UK for LF Harris, the overall length is approximately 6-1/2″, with a width of 4-1/2″ at the top loop and 4-3/4″ at the fixing points.
The stay is mounted to the front fender in the forward position with the tabs facing rearward using 1/4″ bolts and nuts. Not only does the stay secure the front fender to the forks, but it serves as a fork brace along with the middle stay.
The front stay is fitted to mounting brackets on each fork lower member, with the fixing points of the middle stay positioned over the fixing points of the front stay. The tabs are secured to the pre-drilled holes in the fender.
LF Harris motorcycle spares are produced to the highest quality standards possible utilizing original Triumph tooling, dies, factory blueprints & materials combined with modern manufacturing equipment, tolerances & techniques.
Please note: Due to varying bans on the use of hexavalent chrome in the chroming process, this item will have varying appearance different than OEM standards. Chromers are frequently using trivalent in their processes. “It’s just not the same color. Hexavalent has that clear blue sheen, but trivalent is more grayish and smoky. Trivalent will not replace the look of hexavalent.”
