Welcome to Frequent Spanner Points, our way of saying thank you for choosing The Bonneville Shop for your vintage British motorcycle parts, accessories, and workshop needs.
When you shop using a registered customer account, you can earn points on eligible purchases and convert those points into discount coupons for future orders. The more eligible merchandise you buy, the more points you can earn.
Please read the details below so you know how the program works.
Earning Frequent Spanner Points
- To earn Frequent Spanner Points, you must create a customer account with The Bonneville Shop and be logged in to that account when you place your order.
- You will earn 2 Frequent Spanner Points for every whole $1.00 USD spent on eligible merchandise.
- Points are calculated from the eligible merchandise subtotal after discounts have been applied.
- Point calculations are rounded down to the nearest whole dollar. Cents do not round up to earn an additional point.
- Point calculations are made separately for each eligible purchase. Unused cents from one purchase do not carry forward or combine with amounts from a later purchase to earn additional points.
- For example, if an eligible purchase subtotal is $10.67, you will earn 20 Frequent Spanner Points. The remaining $0.67 does not carry forward.
- If your next eligible purchase subtotal is $7.50, you will earn 14 Frequent Spanner Points. The $0.67 from the first purchase and the $0.50 from the second purchase do not combine to earn another point.
- Points are not earned on shipping, sales tax, gift cards, store credit, duties, fees, or other non-merchandise charges.
- Guest orders do not earn points. If you would like to earn points, please create an account and sign in before completing checkout.
- Points are normally added to your account after your order has been paid for and marked complete.
- Points cannot be earned and redeemed on the same order. Points from a new purchase become available for a future eligible order.
- Your available balance can be viewed by signing in to your customer account. Where available, your point balance and conversion options may also appear in the cart or at checkout.
Examples
If you purchase $125.00 in eligible merchandise after any discounts, you will earn 250 Frequent Spanner Points. Shipping and sales tax do not earn points.
If you purchase $10.67 in eligible merchandise after any discounts, you will earn 20 Frequent Spanner Points. The remaining $0.67 does not earn points and does not carry forward to another purchase.
Converting Points Into Coupons
Frequent Spanner Points must be converted into a The Bonneville Shop discount coupon before they can be used toward an order.
- 400 Frequent Spanner Points may be converted into a $5.00 USD discount coupon.
- Points may be converted in 400-point increments, subject to the conversion options available in your account, cart, or checkout.
- Once points have been converted, the applicable points will be deducted from your points balance and a unique discount coupon will be generated for your use.
- The coupon may be available in your customer account, displayed after conversion, and/or sent to the email address associated with your customer account.
- Points cannot be applied directly to an order without first being converted into a coupon.
- Points must be converted before they expire. Expired points cannot be converted into a coupon.
- Coupon discounts must be entered or applied during checkout. They cannot be applied after an order has been placed, and we cannot issue a retroactive discount or price adjustment for an unused coupon.

- A maximum of 4,000 Frequent Spanner Points, worth $50.00 USD in coupon value, may be converted into a single coupon.
- Points and coupons may be used only on eligible merchandise purchased through The Bonneville Shop website.
- Frequent Spanner Points and generated coupons are promotional rewards. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded as cash, sold, or used outside The Bonneville Shop website.
Point and Coupon Expiration
To keep the program active and manageable, both points and the coupons created from them have a defined validity period.
- Frequent Spanner Points expire 24 months after the date the points are earned.
- Each group of points is subject to its own expiration date based on when those particular points were awarded.
- Once points expire, they are removed from the customer’s available points balance and cannot be restored, converted, transferred, or redeemed.
- A discount coupon created by converting Frequent Spanner Points expires 24 months after the date that coupon is generated.
- Once a generated coupon expires, it cannot be used, reissued, extended, exchanged, or redeemed for cash or replacement points.
- Converting points into a coupon before the points expire creates a new, separate 24-month period in which to use that coupon.
- As a result, if eligible points are converted shortly before their 24-month expiration date, the resulting coupon may remain valid for up to an additional 24 months from the date it was generated.
Expiration Example
If you earn points on January 1, 2026, those points will expire on January 1, 2028 unless converted first.
If you convert those points into a coupon on December 15, 2027, the generated coupon will remain valid until December 15, 2029.
This means points and coupons may have separate validity periods. In some cases, points earned today may provide a coupon that can be used nearly four years after the original points were earned, provided the points are converted before their original expiration date.
We may send a reminder before points or coupons expire when an email address is available and notifications are enabled. However, customers remain responsible for monitoring their points balance and coupon expiration dates. Not receiving an email reminder does not extend the expiration date.
Sale Prices, Coupons, and Offers
We want your rewards to be useful, including when you find a good sale.
- Frequent Spanner Points conversion coupons may be used with sale prices unless otherwise stated on the relevant product, category, sale, cart, or checkout page.
- Frequent Spanner Points conversion coupons may not be combined with promotional codes, coupon codes, or other discount offers, unless we specifically state otherwise.
- Only one Frequent Spanner Points conversion coupon may be used per order, unless we specifically state otherwise.
- A coupon created from Frequent Spanner Points is a loyalty reward coupon. It is separate from, and may not be combined with, a promotional or other discount code.
- From time to time, certain products, brands, categories, clearance items, special-order items, limited-quantity products, promotions, or offers may be excluded from earning points, converting points, or using generated coupons.
- If an exclusion applies, we will make a reasonable effort to state it on the relevant product, promotion, cart, or checkout page.
Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations
If something does not work out, our usual return and refund policies still apply.
- If an order is cancelled, returned, refunded, partially refunded, declined, disputed, charged back, or otherwise credited, points earned from the affected portion of the purchase may be removed from your account.
- If you used a Frequent Spanner Points conversion coupon on an order that is later fully or partially refunded, we will handle any coupon or points adjustment based on the eligible merchandise refunded, the original coupon value used, and the circumstances of the return or refund.
- If an order is fully cancelled before shipment and the coupon was not otherwise used, we will normally restore the applicable points to your account, provided those points had not expired at the time of cancellation.
- If restored points have already reached or passed their original expiration date, they may not be restored or may expire immediately.
- If an order is only partially refunded, we may not restore points or issue a replacement coupon where the coupon discount was already fully applied to the retained portion of the order.
- Points and coupons are not cash, store credit, or a refundable payment method.
Your Account and Points Balance
- Frequent Spanner Points belong to the customer account that earned them.
- Points and generated coupons are non-transferable and cannot be sold, bought, gifted, traded, bartered, pooled, merged, or moved between accounts.
- Please keep your account information current and protect your login details. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account.
- We may correct your point balance, coupon balance, or coupon value when needed to fix an obvious system issue, duplicate credit, calculation error, pricing error, refund, cancellation, or other inaccurate allocation of points or rewards.
- If you believe that your balance or generated coupon is incorrect, please contact us with the email address associated with your account and the relevant order number or coupon details. We will be happy to review it.
Fair Use of the Program
The Frequent Spanner Points program is intended to reward genuine customers of The Bonneville Shop.
Please do not create multiple accounts, use false information, use automated methods, manipulate promotions, make purchases for the primary purpose of improperly obtaining rewards, or otherwise try to earn, convert, transfer, or redeem points in a way that is not consistent with these terms.
If we reasonably believe there has been fraud, abuse, unauthorized use, or a violation of these terms, we may suspend or close the related account, remove improperly earned points, cancel generated coupons, deny a coupon redemption, cancel an affected order, or take other action reasonably necessary to protect the program and our customers.
Program Changes
We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue the Frequent Spanner Points program from time to time. This may include changes to:
- The number of points earned per dollar spent.
- The number of points needed to generate a coupon.
- Coupon values, coupon limits, and eligible merchandise.
- Point expiration periods and coupon expiration periods.
- Excluded products, categories, promotions, or offers.
- Program availability, technical features, and checkout rules.
If we make a material change or decide to end the program, we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice and a reasonable opportunity to convert or use eligible points and coupons. We may make an immediate change, suspension, or cancellation when necessary to address fraud, misuse, technical problems, legal requirements, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
A Few Final Details
- Frequent Spanner Points and generated coupons are available only for eligible purchases made through The Bonneville Shop website.
- The program is void where prohibited by law.
- Customers are responsible for any tax consequences that may result from participation in the program or use of coupons.
- These terms apply in addition to The Bonneville Shop’s general website terms, sales policies, shipping policies, and return policies.
- By participating in Frequent Spanner Points, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any future updates posted on this page.
