Speedwell mudguards are the most authentically reproduced mudguards on the market. This front guard is constructed of heavy gauge chrome plated steel and is drilled for use with front, center, and lower mounting stays. Suitable fitment for 1973-1976 Triumph TR7 and T140 models, as well as the 1973-1974 T120V and T150 models equipped with front disc brakes. May also be fitted to the 1973-1974 T100R models.
Made in the UK with original tooling, the chrome plated mudguard features rolled edges and the correct pressed nose. The holes are drilled for use with the 97-4533 front, 97-4534 center, and 97-4535 lower stays. Overall length is 26-3/8″ tip-to-tip. Width is 4-7/8″.
The front mudguard not only provides protection to the motorcycle and the rider from the elements but also stabilizes the fork assembly and minimizes stiction when fitted with the robust fender stays.
The mudguard is assembled to the (3) mounting stays, which are attached to the drilled lugs on the fork. The front wheel must be removed prior to fitment of the mudguard and fender stay assembly. It is recommended to leave the mounting bolts to the fork slightly loose until the wheel is installed to optimize alignment.
