Finally Amal has come out with these top of the line, best version yet 32mm ‘premier’ or ‘premium’ concentrics for Norton 850 commando twins! A vast improvement all round from square one in 1968!
These carburetors incorporate changes in materials which reduce the rate of slide and body wear and a precision engineered idle circuit, with removable pilot (a.k.a. idle) jet improves performance from idle and reduces fuel consumption. The new forged alloy, hard anodized throttle slide has a low friction surface for smoother operation and greater wear resistance. The material of the body has a ‘passivated’ finish to resist corrosion.
They’re also equipped with the new ‘stay up’ ethanol resistant, puncture proof float and the new alloy Viton tipped needle for improved fuel flow control as standard features including ‘chopped’ spray tubes crucial to a top running 850 Norton Commando!
Supplied with #3.5 throttle slide cutaway, 260 main jet, 5 ring needle, RJ19 pilot jet and .106 needle jet.
