Retained by a sealing cover plate, the element is designed to be removed for cleaning and is reusable. The unique design of the MK3 airbox not only filters the air to the carburetors but quiets the induction noise.
The cover plate must be removed, and the filter element carefully withdrawn when service becomes necessary.
