Genuine Amal Pilot Jets are important for tuning the idle circuit on Amal Premier. Most Amal Premier & Wassell Evolution Carbs are supplied with #17 Pilot Jets. If you find you need a leaner fuel mixture at idle, this Wassell Replacement Pilot Jet for all Amal Premier Series Concentric Carbs (including Amal 626 26mm, 928 28mm, 930 30mm & 932 32mm Premiers) will fit the bill. Controls proper fuel metering during idle. Pilot jet can be unscrewed from the port on left side of carburetor. The full assortment of jets are:Â
The #17 Jet is the equivalent of the old Amal #25 Pilot Jet size.Â
The #19 Jet is the equivalent of the old Amal #30 Pilot Jet size.
The #21 Jet is the equivalent of the old Amal #35 Pilot Jet size.
