Pushrod tube selection is critical to building an oil-tight Triumph twin-cylinder engine. This pushrod tube is specifically for the 1973-1979 Triumph 750 engines.
Made in the UK by LF Harris, this pushrod tube is manufactured to original specifications and features a bright chrome plated finish. The distance between the top shoulder and the bottom face is 4.485″.
In the original configuration, o-rings are fitted to the top collar and within the internal groove at the lower flare. An additional square section seal is placed over the guide block and is retained by a sleeve which fits around the seal and the lower flared end of the pushrod tube.
The rocker boxes and cylinder head must be removed to access the pushrod tubes. Be prepared to replace seals and gaskets upon reassembly. The correct torque specifications must be observed when refitting the cylinder head. Refer to the factory workshop manual for specific instructions and specifications.Â
LF Harris motorcycle spares are produced to the highest quality standards possible utilizing original Triumph tooling, dies, factory blueprints & materials combined with modern manufacturing equipment, tolerances & techniques.
