This unique piston ring compressor set is designed to allow for easier installation of the cylinder barrel over the piston after replacement of piston rings on a single-cylinder or V-twin piston.
Supplied in a durable poly organizer case, the piston ring compressor kit is supplied with a clamping tool and (4) separate straps to fit over pistons ranging from 40mm-85mm.
Designed to prevent piston ring breakage during cylinder installation. The unique twin-jaw clamping tool allows for quick and easy removal once the cylinder barrel is positioned over the fitted piston rings.
The appropriate strap is selected to fit over a pre-determined piston size. With the end tabs engaged with the clamping tool, the thumbscrew is tightened to secure the strap around the piston rings fitted into the ring grooves on the piston. Once the cylinder barrel is lowered over the compressed rings, the tool assembly is withdrawn.
