Pushrod tube selection is critical to building an oil-tight Triumph twin-cylinder engine. This pushrod tube is specifically for the 1980-1985 Triumph 750 engines.
Made in the UK by LF Harris, this pushrod tube is manufactured to original specifications and features a bright chrome plated finish. The distance between the top shoulder and the bottom face is 4.485″.
Triumph struggled with pushrod tube sealing over the years, and this pushrod tube and seal configuration was the final revision to the B-range engines. O-rings are fitted to the top collar and within the internal groove at the lower flare. A sleeve is fitted over the tappet guide block at the base of the pushrod tube.
The rocker boxes and cylinder head must be removed to access the pushrod tubes. Be prepared to replace seals and gaskets upon reassembly. The correct torque specifications must be observed when refitting the cylinder head. Refer to the factory workshop manual for specific instructions and specifications.Â
