Suitable for fitment to the 1973-1982 Triumph twins and triple 750 models, the polished alloy tail lamp housing is also found on the 1973-1974 T100R and TR5T models. Designed for use with the Lucas 917 taillight unit.
This high quality reproduction tail lamp housing is supplied in polished alloy, although it can be substituted for the “crinkle” black finished unit, as specified for some models. The top spine of the casting is approximately 7″ long. Made in the UK from LF Harris.
The tail lamp housing supports the taillight unit and protects the wiring. It features a cutaway that allows fitment over the grab rail on the rear mudguard.
A support plate is sandwiched in between the casting and the tail lamp unit. The support plate serves as the rearward mounting point for the tail lamp assembly, while a single stud fixes the front of the housing to the mudguard. Refer to the factory parts catalogs for diagrams of the mounting arrangement of the tail lamp assembly.
