The side cover transfer is important to the restorer looking to add fine details to the finish of the motorcycle. This is a replica of the original 60-1917 Tiger 500 waterslide decal.
The waterslide transfer measures 4.5″ long and is 1″ tall. Can be trimmed to minimize the clear border. The crisp gold lettering is in a cursive font, as correct for the 1968 US-Spec T100R Daytona and 1969-1970 Home market T100T and T100R models.
The transfer is generally positioned centrally on the left side panel.
The painted surface of the side cover must be free of dirt, grease, and wax to achieve an attractive application. Once the border is trimmed, the vinyl decal is simply lifted off the backing paper and is applied to the side panel. The metal panel should be at room temperature.
