The final iterations of the Meriden-built 750 twins were offered with two versions of lifting handles and grab rails, a plain grab rail, or a grab rail with a small integrated parcel rack. This listing features the traditional plain grab rail, as specified for the 1979-1980 T140D models, although the part number also appears in the 1982 T140E and TSS parts catalog.
This reproduction lifting handle is finished in chrome and has gusseted turn signal stalk mounts built into the grab rail loop. Made in the UK by TJ Wassell.
The lifting handle allows for placing the motorcycle onto the center stand and the grab rail loop offers the passenger a rail to grasp onto while riding pillion. Turn signals are fitted to the reinforcement gussets.
The forward stays of the lifting handle are mounted with the rear shock bolts. The central tab at the rear of the loop aligns with a holes in the rear mudguard and is captured by the tail lamp housing.Â
