With the introduction of the new oil-in-frames for the 1971 model year came a new lifting handle/ grab rail for the Triumph and BSA 650 models. Not suitable for fitment to the Triumph 500 twins or A75/T150 three-cylinder models.
This reproduction lifting handle is finished in chrome and has gusseted reflector mounts built into the grab rail loop. Made in the UK by TJ Wassell.
The lifting handle allows for placing the motorcycle onto the center stand and the grab rail loop offers the passenger a rail to grasp onto while riding pillion. Reflectors can be fitted to the round gussets.
The forward stays of the lifting handle are mounted with the rear shock bolts. The tabs at the rear of the loop align with holes in the rear fender and license plate brackets.Â
