This 1BA screw is found in various applications on vintage British motorcycles, but most notably as the clamping screw for original production Amal control levers. May not be suitable for current reproduction levers.
The slotted cheesehead screw(s) has 1BA threads and is 5/8″ underhead. Is a reproduction of the original Amal 11/014 clamping screw, as fitted to various original clutch and brake levers. Made in the UK.
The clamping screw(s) is part of the the original 60-2241 and 60-2242 control lever assemblies, as fitted to Triumph models from 1969-1970. May be used in other applications also, such as choke and magneto manual advance levers.
A flat blade screwdriver with a sufficiently thick blade end is used to tighten the screw into the nut or threaded bore.
