Triumph 750 76 mm Piston Ring Set. Piston rings play a critical role in producing good compression and minimizing oil consumption. This set of 76mm piston rings are suitable fitment for the Triumph 750 models. They are available in standard as well as oversizes up to .060″.

Suitable for:

  • Engine numbers after T140V XH22019 and TR7RV AH24040
  • Not recommended for fitment to early 75mm 724cc models

Sourced from LF Harris in the UK, these cast-iron piston rings are precision manufactured to the correct dimensions for optimal fitment and sealing properties. Included in the complete set are (4) compression rings and (2) oil control rings, enough for both pistons. The compression rings are marked with “top”, indicating the orientation in the piston ring grooves. One-piece oil control rings are included in this set.

The piston rings form a seal during compression and promote oil lubrication of the cylinder bore walls. They must be accurately sized to fit in the piston ring grooves with clearance. The LF Harris brand piston rings are an excellent complement to the JCC/Emgo piston sets we offer.

Ring end gaps must be checked and adjusted, if necessary, prior to fitment to the pistons. Care must be taken when handling piston rings, as they are brittle and can be broken if mishandled, especially during fitment to the pistons. Suggested ring end gaps are .004″-.006″ per inch of bore for both compression and oil control rings. Care must be taken to observe the markings on the compression rings.
