Quality reinforced oil line suitable for use on various models with 3/8″ oil pipe junction blocks, such as Norton Commando, BSA A65 (feed pipe), and Triumph 750 twins (feed pipe). Sold in a 5-ft. length.

The black neoprene rubber hose is braided for extra strength and covered in smooth rubber. Rated at 200 psi, the hose is fuel and oil resistant.

The oil lines supply the oil fed from the oil tank to the oil pipe junction block, and also return the oil, as scavenged by the oil pump from the crankcase.

The oil line is measured for the application, then cut to length. Once fitted over the pipes, clips are used to secure the oil line to the pipes. In some applications, ferrules are used on the end of the oil lines.

Key Features:

  • Reduced Expansion: Unlike rubber hoses that can expand under pressure, braided lines maintain their shape, ensuring more precise and responsive oil delivery. This can lead to improved engine performance and efficiency.
  • Flexibility: Despite their strength, braided oil lines remain flexible, making them easier to route through tight spaces in the motorcycle’s engine compartment.
  • Pressure Resistance: The braided construction allows these lines to withstand higher oil pressures without expanding. This results in more consistent oil flow and pressure, which is crucial for proper engine lubrication.
  • Temperature Tolerance: Braided lines generally have better heat resistance, allowing them to maintain their integrity in high-temperature environments often found in motorcycle engines.
