Suitable for fitment to the Norton Roadholder forks specified for the early Commando models through 1970, this matching pair of “fork slider extensions”, or oil seal holders may also be compatible with later Atlas forks with the short seal holders.
The short seal holders measure approximately 3-1/4″ in length and are finished in chrome-plating, as the originals. Made in the UK by TJ Wassell.
The seal holder acts an extension to the lower fork leg and houses the oil seal. They are threaded directly into each fork lower.
The forks must be disassembled as outlined in the factory workshop manual in order to replace the seal holder extensions.
