This snap ring pliers kit is indispensable for both the hobbyist and professional mechanic when replacing oil seals and bearings, as the supplied (4) interchangeable tip sets allow for removal and installation of a range of 10mm-50mm circlips and snap rings. Suitable for use on both vintage and modern motorcycles.
The pliers can be calibrated for either internal or external and inside or outside circlips. The non-slip rubber grip handles offer a comfortable feel when squeezing the tool. The combination of the various interchangeable tips eliminates the need for multiple tools to remove and install circlips.
The tip sets are secured to the jaws of the pliers with set screws and easily changed to match the size of the circlip. Both straight and 45 degree bent tips allow for access to nearly any circlip or snap ring encountered on a motorcycle.
Internal circlips are usually fit into a circular groove and require compression to free the circlip from its retaining groove, while external circlips are often used on grooved shafts and need to be opened up to remove and install.
