Motion Pro tools have long been recognized as the first choice amongst professional motorcycle mechanics for finish and durability. This pro-quality spoke wrench set features (3) individual double-ended spoke wrenches to span a wide range of spoke nipple sizes, from 5.0 through 7.0.
Manufactured from chrome-vanadium tool steel, these spoke wrenches feature a hard nickel pewter finish. Each wrench has two different sized ends to accommodate (6) different spoke nipple sizes, including 5.0mm, 6mm, 6.3mm, 6.5mm, 6.8mm, and 7.0mm.
Designed like brake line wrenches, with an open offset slot to pass over the spoke, they have square openings which grip the spoke nipple on all four sides for positive retention.
Once the appropriately sized wrench is determined, it is placed over the spoke onto the spoke nipple and will loosen or tighten the spoke tension. Wheel building and truing is a specialized skill that is often best left to a professional wheelsmith to achieve the best results.
