This set of chromed high-level exhaust header pipes are correct for the 1969-1970 TR6C Trophy models with the left-side mounting position and straight-cut ends.
Made in the UK by LF Harris, these exhaust pipes are manufactured to the original specifications, with an I.D. of 1-5/8″ and O.D. of 1-3/4″ at the flare for fitment over the exhaust spigot, and an O.D. terminating in 1-3/8″.
The exhaust headers are fitted to the engine and chassis with various brackets and are connected to the silencers with an “H” connector. A chromed screen covers the silencers and serves as a heat shield.
The exhaust system should be loosely assembled to allow alignment adjustments to be made while incrementally tightening the fasteners securing the entire system.
Please note: Due to varying bans on the use of hexavalent chrome in the chroming process, this item will have varying appearance different than OEM standards. Chromers are frequently using trivalent in their processes. “It’s just not the same color. Hexavalent has that clear blue sheen, but trivalent is more grayish and smoky. Trivalent will not replace the look of hexavalent.”
LF Harris motorcycle spares are produced to the highest quality standards possible utilizing original Triumph tooling, dies, factory blueprints & materials combined with modern manufacturing equipment, tolerances & techniques.
