Suitable for fitment to the 1976-1978 Triumph 750 twins with the underslung rear brake caliper, the steel “Bundy” tube connects the master cylinder hose to the caliper. Not compatible with the 1979-later models.
The irregular “S”-shaped metal tube is formed with a nut that connects to the flexible rubber brake hose on one end, and a male threaded end on the other end to the brake caliper. Genuine UK-made reproduction brake pipe from LF Harris.
The metal pipe offers rigidity and durability where needed in the plumbing of the underslung Lockheed rear hydraulic brake system.
The hydraulic rear brake system must be purged of air once the pipe is replaced and fresh brake fluid replenished. Consult the workshop manual for detailed instructions on rear brake service.
