Speedwell mudguards are the most authentically reproduced fenders on the market. We have assembled this kit comprised of the stainless front mudguard and (3) black finished fender stays to suit the 1969-1970 Triumph T100C and TR6C models. The mudguard is supplied undrilled and may be fitted to other similar Triumph models.
Manufactured in the UK, the genuine Speedwell front mudguard is constructed of heavy gauge stainless steel and features a beaded front lip. A 14″ radius, 4-1/2″ width, and 26″ chord length accommodates 19″ front wheels. The black finished fender stays are all 2-tab style, as specified for the 1969-1970 models.
The front mudguard not only provides protection to the motorcycle and the rider from the elements but also stabilizes the fork assembly and minimizes stiction when fitted with the robust fender stays.
The mudguard is fitted with looped stays at the front, middle, and rear positions. The front wheel must be removed prior to fitment of the mudguard and fender stay assembly. It is recommended to leave the mounting bolts to the fork slightly loose until the wheel is installed to optimize alignment.
Sturdy construction and made in the UK! Specifications of the stays are:
- 97-1681 –Â Forward Front Fender Stay
- 97-1683 –Â Middle Front Fender Stay
- 97-3885 –Â Lower Front Fender Stay
- 97-3884 S –Â Stainless Steel Front Mudguard Fender 1966-69 UK Made
