Triumph Lower Front Fender Stay Black 2 Tab 97-3885 TLS
This reproduction front fender lower stay is specified for the 1970 Triumph T100C and TR6C models originally fitted with a twin-leading front brake plate and stainless steel fender with two holes for the stay mounting. There is a pronounced “kick up” at the front fixing points and (2) mounting tabs for the fender. May be suitable fitment for earlier models with drillings for a 2-tab fender stay.
Featuring heavy-duty construction and a black finish, the stay measures approximately 5.5″ wide across the rear loop and is approximately 14″ in overall length. Made in the UK by TJ Wassell.
The fender stays support the front mudguard and provide rigidity for the fork under swift cornering and hard braking. The correct dimensions are critical to fitment and safe operation of the motorcycle.
The lower stay is mounted to the rearward part of the front fender, secured with a nut and bolt through the drilled hole on the fender. The front fixing points of the stays are attached directly to the fender stay tabs on each fork lower.Â
