Great price for a well made kit… BUT!
This particular kit doesn’t include coils, which is fine. It’s just something to remember.
They recommend using two 6V coils, whereas OTHER brands say that 12V coils are ok to use. It would be nice if Sparx could upgrade (or whatever) their system to accept the very common 12V coils. They do say that a pair of 12V coils “CAN” be used, but you’ll have weaker spark, therefore, you’ll have hard starting…. which totally defeats the purpose of the E.I. system.
I personally used a 12V, 4 ohm “dual fire” coil. Ebay and Amazon sell them for about $30.
The instructions and diagrams are very clear and easy to understand. The pictures are a HUGE help, also.
The three biggest issues I had with the kit were…
    1. The god awful quality of the supplied wire sheathing/conduit. It was so soft and flimsy that I couldn’t get the wires any further than about 12 inches into it before it got stuck.
Maybe some talcum powder sprinkled inside would’ve helped.
They should consider using a slightly stiffer, less “sticky” conduit.
    2. The small machine screws that are used to hold the wires in place on the pickup plate are cheap, Zinc plated fastners, which are VERY prone to oxidation. They should seriously consider using a higher quality fastner, made of a more corrosion resistant material, like stainless steel, or, even brass.
    3. The ring connectors used to terminate the wires at the pickup plate were too large for the wire.
Overall… it’s a GREAT kit and the bike runs flawlessly.
    It’s now a solid 1 KICKER… hot or cold!! 👍 Awesome product!!
