The bolt-on sidestand is useful when a broken sidestand tab is encountered, generally as a temporary fix until a proper repair can be performed.
The sidestand features an upper and lower serrated saddle, allowing the assembly to be clamped down on the lower frame rail, once adjusted to the correct angle and reach. The stand can be welded onto the frame.
This propstand fits 1-1/4″ OD frame tubes. Length is approximately 9-1/2 measured from mount center to heel, made of durable cast iron.
The propstand is clamped onto the frame and uses a pivoting mechanism with a spring to hold it in position when the sidestand is not in use. It is preferred to weld the stand to the frame when the intent is to make it a permanent fitment.
