7/8 clubman handlebars are an economical alternative to fitting “clip-on” handlebars on a café racer or other custom motorcycle where the intent is to lower the riding position.
The 7/8″ diameter makes this custom handlebar suitable for many vintage British and Japanese motorcycle applications. Chrome plated for a durable finish, this handlebar is 28″ wide with a 4.8″ center and 6″ pullback.
This type of handlebar is not compatible with the original “p-clamps”, as fitted to many Triumph models, due to the acute angles of the welded-on pullbacks. Aftermarket risers are necessary for applications where p-clamps are original equipment on these cafe racer clubman handlebars.
Prior to the fitment of this handlebar, it must be verified that there is adequate room for handlebar controls, switch gear, and the throttle twist grip. It is possible that the lengths of the control cables will have to altered for proper operation and safety. The petrol tank should be protected while installing the handlebar and associated components.
Note: Due to the extremely tight angles of these 7/8 cafe racer handlebars, they are not compatible with stock slip over Triumph and BSA eyebolt applications. They will however fit fork top yokes with a removable 2 bolt type bridge clamp. If you have compatibility questions, please call us prior to ordering.
