The Girling name is a legacy brand that dates back to the 1920s, and has long been known for innovation and quality brake parts. A complete new lineup of motorcycle brake components are now available replicating the original equipment as specified for BSA, Norton, and Triumph motorcycles.
This is the 8″ brake hose that joins the rear master cylinder to the metal pipe on the Triumph models with the underslung hydraulic rear brake caliper. Made in the UK.
The flexible hose is threaded on both ends and delivers brake fluid under pressure to the metal pipe that terminates at the brake caliper. A copper washer provides a seal where the hose is threaded into the master cylinder outlet.
The hydraulic rear brake system must be purged of air once the hose is replaced and fresh brake fluid is replenished.
