The cupped washer is specified for pre-oil in frame petrol tank mounting on the 1963-1970 Triumph 650, 1965-1974 500, and 1969-1974 T150 triples. The washer supports the front and rear rubber mounts and provides secure and vibration-dampened mounting of the tank.
Finished in bright zinc-plating, the special cupped washer is 1-3/16″ OD, with a 3/8″ hole and a height of 3/16″. The lip around the edge of the washer locates and prevents distortion of the mounting rubbers. Made in the UK.
The cupped design helps absorb vibrations and distribute loads evenly, protecting the petrol tank from damage.
The front and rear mounting bolts must be removed to place the cupped washers over the rubber mounts. The installation is straightforward and does not require special tools.
