This Triumph Oil Gauge oil pressure gauge kit contains all of the components to fit to your B-range Triumph 650 and 750 unit-construction twin models. This kit ensures optimal lubrication system function by monitoring oil pressure throughout all temperature and engine speed ranges. May also be suitable for use on some BSA models.
The black face design seamlessly integrates with the vintage look on the 1960s and 1970s-era Triumph motorcycles. The kit consists of the gauge, stainless steel handlebar mount, high pressure hose, and various adaptor fittings to suit timing covers from early unit engines through the last of the 750 models.
A proper oil gauge monitors the oil pressure while the engine is running and supersedes the oil pressure switch and warning light system used from 1969-onward on Triumph and BSA engines.
The kit is supplied with comprehensive instructions for fitment. The adaptor replaces the oil pressure switch and is housed in the timing cover. A length of hose is then run up to the handlebar-mounted gauge. Care should be taken to route the hose away from the exhaust pipe and sufficient slack in the hose must be available to prevent damage when the handlebar is turned from side to side.
