These Triumph and BSA Lightweight Clutch Plate are bonded clutch driving plate(s) to suit your unit twins. UK Made and weighing in at a scant 2.8oz each!
If you are looking to shave weight for race or street purposes, use these plates with our clutch basket or, even better, our belt drive kits (see recommended links). The friction (driving) plates are important for engaging the clutch to transmit the power from the engine to the transmission and final drive system.
A kit of (6) lightweight friction plates replaces the standard steel friction plates and will save rotating weight in the primary drive system increasing performance.
The friction plates must adhere to the plain steel plates to properly engage the clutch. The clutch sprocket and clutch center must be in serviceable condition to function properly with the clutch plates.
The clutch plates are stacked in the clutch sprocket and are driven by the clutch center. The pressure plate must be removed to access the clutch plates.
