The exhaust valve is important as it must seal the combustion chamber during compression.

Applicable fitment for Triumph models 650 and 750 from 1951-1982 – Check your parts book for fitment, as some early models use the 70-3927 exhaust valve.

Standard factory correct exhaust valve, as original equipment. Made in the UK by LF Harris.

The valve must be correctly fitted to the valve guide, with a minimum clearance of .003″. When replacing valves, it is advisable to lap in the new valve face to the valve seat to achieve a good seal.

A valve spring compressor must be used to remove and re-install valves in the cylinder head. A qualified machinist is often the best option for valvetrain work on cylinder heads to ensure proper fitment of the valves.
