New production rear brake return spring compatible with the cast yoke-style brake arm, as fitted to the T90 and T100 models from 1967 through 1974. May be suitable for some 650 models using the 37-2014 yoke-style brake arm.

A properly functioning return spring is critical for safe and effective rear brake operation. A worn spring may lead to brake drag and a lack of modulation at the rear brake pedal. The spring allows the pedal to return to its resting position upon disengagement of the rear brake.
The end of the return spring is anchored into the brake plate, with the hooked end fitted over the brake operating arm. The brake arm must be removed to fit the spring into position. A black finished version of this spring is also available under part number 37-1488.
