The return spring is important for safe and effective rear brake action on the early conical hub rear brake plate. This spring is applicable to Triumph TR6, T120, T150 and BSA A65, A75 from 1971.
The spring is designed to work on the rear conical hub brake plates with the downward-facing brake arm lever. It is unique to the 1971 model year.
The spring assists the brake lever in returning to its unloaded position when the brake pedal is disengaged. The return spring works along with the brake shoe springs to keep the brake shoes from dragging on the brake drum.
The spring is located over the boss cast into the brake plate and is captured in a hole on one end of the spring and looped over the brake lever at the opposite end of the spring.
LF Harris motorcycle spares are produced to the highest quality standards possible utilizing original Triumph tooling, dies, factory blueprints & materials combined with modern manufacturing equipment, tolerances & techniques.
