This set of front and rear seat hinges were widely used on Triumph twins and three-cylinder models from 1968 through 1975. Applicable to T90 and T100 models from 1968-1974, TR6 and T120 models from 1968-1970, and the T150 and T160 models from 1969-1975. Not for use on the oil in frame 650 and 750 models from 1971 and later.
Made in the UK to the original specifications, these hinges feature an attractive black finish. They are of differing lengths, with the longer hinge intended for fitment to the front seat mounting bosses.
The hinges allow the seat to be opened up without removal, for easy access to the battery and other electrical system components. A check wire is fitted to prevent the seat from over-pivoting and fouling the side panel.
The front hinge can be installed on the seat first, then loosely fitted to the hook on the rear frame loop. The rear hinge must be fitted to the seat once the seat is partially installed on the rear frame loop, as the hooks on the frame loop point in opposite directions.
