Specified exclusively for the Norton Commando models featuring the rubber-mounted Isolastic anti-vibration system, this rubber bonded mount features studs on each side and is fitted as head steady and exhaust silencer mounts on the 1968-1975 models. May also be suitable for petrol tank mounting on some model years.
Sourced from TJ Wassell in the UK, the resilient rubber mount features studs on each side of the assembly with 5/16″-24 TPI UNF threads.
As an integral part of the Norton Isolastic system, the rubber mounts provide a vibration buffer when fitted to the top of the engine head steadies and between the silencer mounting brackets. Also fitted as rear petrol tank mounts on the MK3 models.
Some level of disassembly is required to replace the rubber mounts at the head steadies, including removal of the petrol tank. The silencer brackets must be disassembled to access the rubber mounts in between the brackets. Refer to the factory workshop manual for more details.
