BSA fitted this type of oil seal to many common models of telescopic forks from the early 1950’s through 1968, including single-cylinder and twin-cylinder models such as B32, B44, C15, A10, A50, and A65. Sold individually.
The rubber-coated reproduction oil seals have an OD of approximately 47 mm and an ID of 31 mm. Sourced from Emgo.
The oil seals are pressed into a steel seal holder and are designed to prevent oil from leaking out of the lower fork legs.
Fork oil seals must be extracted from the seal holders prior to replacement, which involves partial disassembly of the fork assembly. Refer to the factory workshop manual for the correct procedures.Â
