The early BSA telescopic non-damper forks utilized this lower bush fork tube nut to secure the bush to the fork tube. Suitable fitment for A, B, and C-series models through 1965. Sold as a matching pair of (2) nuts. Refer to the factory parts catalog to confirm compatibility.
Made in the UK by TJ Wassell, the steel nut is approximately 3/4″ in length with 1-1/16″ OD and 26 TPI.
The nut is threaded into the bottom of the fork stanchion tube to retain the lower bush. A sealing washer is fitted under the head of the nut.
The fork tube assembly must be removed from the upper and lower yokes to facilitate disassembly. Refer to the factory workshop manual for front fork service details and procedures.
