Beautiful UK made WM3 x 18” 40 hole chrome rear wheel rim from Central Wheel Components in the UK. Why bother re-chroming when you can buy these top quality CWC rims for less? Central Wheel Components are arguably the best quality rims for vintage British motorcycles on the market today. This rear rim is suited to BSA models that had the rear quick detectable (QD/crinkle) hub and appropriate for BSA A50s, A65s from about 1964-1970, B25, C25 and Triumph TR25 Trophy from 1967-1970. This may also fit BSA A7, A10, B31, B32 and B33 models but please consult you parts catalog for proper fit. These are the nicest chrome rims we’ve seen since the original Dunlops!
Also included is our US made stainless steel spoke set by Buchanan’s for BSA WM3 x 18″ rear rims. If it’s time to re-lace those old wheels this is the way to go. These spoke sets can also be polished for a chrome like finish that will last for years. The nipples measure .250 diameter and the spokes are the correct 8-10 gauge. Also supplied with Buchanan’s correct proprietary assembly lube to prevent thread galling.
Key Features:
- Improved strength and durability: New rims and spokes are likely to be stronger than old, worn components, providing better resistance to impacts and rough terrain.
- Enhanced aesthetics: Fresh rims and spokes can significantly improve the appearance of a classic Triumph, restoring its vintage look or allowing for customization.
- Better performance: New components can improve wheel balance and reduce unsprung weight, potentially enhancing handling and ride quality.
- Increased safety: Worn or damaged wheels can pose safety risks. New rims and spokes ensure structural integrity and reduce the chances of wheel failure.
Please note: Due to varying bans on the use of hexavalent chrome in the chroming process, this item will have varying appearance different than OEM standards. Chromers are frequently using trivalent in their processes. “It’s just not the same color. Hexavalent has that clear blue sheen, but trivalent is more grayish and smoky. Trivalent will not replace the look of hexavalent.”
