While this 7/8″ handlebar can be fitted to earlier Triumph models, it does not have the drillings to directly mount the Lucas 31563 dipper/horn switch. Original fitment for the US-market 1971-1972 Triumph 650 and BSA A75 models, and now available in stainless steel.
Stainless steel construction provides an attractive and corrosion-resistant finish on this premium UK-made handlebar. The rather wide overall length provides ample room for the Lucas switch consoles. Approximate measurements reveal a width of 34″, 6″ pullback, 4″ rise, and a 5″ center section.
The handlebar dimensions greatly impact the rider’s comfort and safety. This style of handlebar is known as the “western bend” and is favored by both flat track racers and street riders.
The handlebar is mounted to the fork with eyebolts, which must be removed from the top fork yoke to facilitate handlebar replacement. Attention must be paid to the length and routing of the control cables when replacing the handlebar.Â
