Triumph T100 Outer Gearbox Cover Screw(s) 1/4 inch-20 x 2-3/8 inch UNC PN# 21-1918

The 2-3/8″ Pozidrive screw is one of the two correct length screws for retaining the outer gearbox cover on the 1969 and later Triumph T100 models. There are (2) screws in this length, as well as (2) additional 2-5/8″ screws, sold under part number 21-1917.

This zinc-plated Fillister head Pozidrive screw measures 2-3/8″ under head and is threaded to 1/4″-20 TPI UNC, with approximately 5/8″ of threads. Made in the UK.

The long screw must pass through the outer and inner gearbox covers to seal both covers to the gearbox.

This screw threads into a blind hole, and it is important that the threads are free of sealant, gasket material, or other debris that can be compressed into the hole, potentially causing damage to the threads when the screw is fully tightened.
