This comprehensive kit contains all of the mounting hardware and rubber fittings for the majority of the post-war Triumph 500 and 650 pre-unit models from 1947-1955, including the 5T, 6T, T100, and T110.
Sourced from Tri-Cor in the UK, this kit features
- (2) x 82-0966 15/16″ long rear mounting bolts,
- (2) x 82-1808 1-1/4″ long front mounting bolts,
- (4) x 82-3814 cupped washers,
- (6) x 82-0967 lower rubber pads, andÂ
- (2) x 82-5228 upper rubber pads,
The shouldered bolts have a thread pitch of 5/16-26 TPI (CEI).
The mounting bolts pass through the cupped washers and rubbers situated on the top and bottom of the petrol tank support brackets to effectively rubber-mount the tank. There are drillings in the heads of the front bolts for safety wiring the bolts, once installed.
The rubber pads are of varying lengths and are fitted between the petrol tank and the support brackets to achieve the correct height and clearance with the frame. The cupped washers form an abutment for the bolt heads. Consult the factory parts catalog for the correct orientation of the hardware.
