This friction plate features modern friction material for strong, predictable bite, reduced fade, and smoother engagement. They are manufactured to proper thickness for correct stack height, minimizing clutch slip, drag, and chatter when used in the Aerco 7-plate clutch conversion kit.
The primary chaincase cover must be removed to gain access to the primary drive system. Once the clutch spring nuts are free from the studs, the pressure plate can be removed, allowing access to the clutch plates. A magnet can be useful to help remove stubborn plates. Consult the workshop manual for the complete procedure.
