Established in 1990, the Devon Rim Company Ltd has been a purveyor of the finest wheel goods available worldwide for vintage British motorcycles. This spoke kit will suit the 1971-1973 Triumph and BSA 650 and 750 twins and triples equipped with the 8″ aluminum conical front brake hub and WM2-19 rim. Compatible with 37-3818 40 hole rim drilled for .250″ spoke nipples.
Manufactured and finished in the UK, the 10 gauge stainless spokes are supplied with .250″ brass nickel-plated nipples. This spoke set replaces original Triumph part numbers 37-3819, 37-3820, and 37-3821 with overall lengths of approximately 5-1/4″ and 7-7/8″.
Stainless spokes offer a bright and corrosion-resistant finish and are an excellent choice for replacement of the original galvanized spokes. Modern manufacturing standards ensure safe and attractive wheels for superior reliability on the road.
Wheel building is a specialized skill and requires patience and specialty tools. A wheel truing stand will be beneficial for achieving a trued wheel and safely finished product. Refer to the specific model’s workshop manual for more details on rim lacing and correct offset specifications. In many cases, wheel building is best left to an experienced wheelsmith.

A note about lacing wheels: Your new rim may not lace up in the same pattern of your existing rim.
For example, the Triumph disc rear from the factory used a couple of different dimple patterns of their rims, some used a 3 x 1 pattern and some used a 1×1 cross through pattern
Start with just your inner spokes, remembering that all spokes on the left-hand side of the hub go to the right-hand dimples and vice versa. When all the inners look like they are going the right direction, you can move onto his longer and shorter outer spokes depending on his offset.
