Description

This is the correct speedometer drive unit in the 1.25:1 drive ratio for the 1971-1978 Triumph TR6, T120, T140 models and 1971-1972 BSA A65, A70, and A75 models. Compatible with conical and disc brake hubs with 5/8″ axle.

The speedometer drive gearbox replaces the original Smith’s BG5330/164 1.25:1 reversing drive unit that is bored to accept a 5/8″ rear wheel spindle. Quality construction from LF Harris in the UK.

The speedometer drive gearbox is fitted over the rear wheel spindle onto the hub and turns with the wheel. The internal gear drives the cable to the speedometer. Should be paired with 150 mph speedometer.
