Known as an ‘L’ bracket, the stay is used on each exhaust header pipe of the Triumph B-range models with down swept exhaust pipes from 1967. May be suitable for fitment to early unit-construction 650 models fitted with 1965-on exhaust pipes and the longer crankcase stud.
Finished in chrome plating and made of durable steel, the reproduction exhaust stay ‘L’ bracket is made in the UK by TJ Wassell.
The bracket secures each exhaust pipe tab to the long stud passing through the crankcase, stabilizing the exhaust system.
It is advisable to loosely install exhaust system components to allow for alignment adjustments prior to tightening all related hardware. Consult the factory workshop for installation details.
