The original type steering head race cup is correct fitment for the earlier unit-construction Triumph C-range models using cups, cones, and loose ball bearings. Two cups are required in the frame’s headstock.
Used in both the upper and lower positions on the frame’s steering head, this cup is a direct replacement for the original equipment. Made in the UK.
Each cup retains 24 loose 3/16″ ball bearings packed in grease. The lower race is pressed onto the steering stem and swivels with the bearings. The top race is fitted over the top cup and bearing assembly and is protected by a dust cover.
The steering race cups are pressed or drifted into the frame’s headstock.
*** IMPORTANT *** ALL BEARINGS MUST BE INSTALLED BY A TRAINED TECHNICIAN!
