This 30-piece engine bolt set includes all of the necessary 5/16″ hardware for joining the crank cases of a 1969-1970 Triumph 650 engine. Sourced from Tri-Cor in the UK.
Included in the engine crank case hardware set are (8) S1-51 5/16-26 nuts, (2) 70-4856 5/16-26 x 5-1/16″ long studs, (2) 70-2888 5/16-26 x 3-7/8″ short studs, (11) S25-3 5/16 plain washers, (1) 21-1870 5/16-18 x 2-1/2″ bolt, (1) 21-1869 5/16-18 x 1-7/8″ bolt, and (1) 14-6220 5/16-18 x 1-3/4″ bolt.
This zinc-plated hardware set retains the crank cases together once the cases are prepared for reassembly. There are other sundry studs and screws required that are not included in this set of 5/16″ bolts, studs, nuts, and washers. Consult the factory parts catalog to identify the additional hardware needed to complete the engine assembly correctly.
The crankcases are prepped with crankshaft bearings and camshaft bushings installed, crankshaft assembly and camshafts fitted, and an application of sealant applied to the mating surfaces of the crank case halves. Once joined together, the hardware is installed and torqued to specifications. Consult the factory workshop for instructions and specifications.Â
