Suitable for fitment to the 1970-1974 Norton Commando 750 and 850 Roadster, Fastback, and Hi-Rider models, this 6-piece set of silencer and footrest support brackets comprises the mounting system for the rubber-mounted silencers. The rubber mounts are not included in this kit. May be suitable fitment for some earlier models, but not compatible with the MK3 models from 1975.
The 6-piece set includes (2) of each 06-1720 large silencer stay brackets, 06-1721 small silencer brackets, and 06-1722 footrest support gusset brackets. Made in the UK by TJ Wassell.
The passenger footrest support and silencer brackets work together to form a rubber-mounted system for securing the silencers to the motorcycle.
Loosely assembling all exhaust components to ensure no part is under tension may significantly reduce the likelihood of vibration-induced cracking.
