This quality constructed Norton gas tank / petrol tank for the 1972-1975 Commando Roadster models is built to high standards with heavy gauge steel and features the same internal baffling as the original equipment tank. The base form and mounting points are accurately placed.
The top-quality reproduction Norton gas tank / Roadster petrol tank is manufactured to exacting standards by the premier manufacturer in Taiwan. Capacity is 3 US gallons. With all tanks, we highly recommend pressure testing and/or sealing prior to paint.
The tank uses a Monza-style flip top cap, which is sold separately. Studs and mounting rubbers secure the tank to the frame at the front, and a steel strap is fitted under the rear of the tank. Dual petcocks are fitted underneath the rear of the tank.
