Many post-war road-going BSA models through 1968 were fitted with the domed fork top nuts with CEI threads, including M21, B31, and C10 single-cylinder and A7, A10, and A65 twin-cylinder models. Sold as a set of (2) fork top nuts.
These stainless steel fork tube nuts measure 1-1/16″ OD, with 20 TPI CEI threads. These are the hollow type with no provision for threaded damper rods, as fitted to some competition models. Made in the UK by TJ Wassell.
The fork top nuts are threaded into the top of the fork stanchion tube and seal the oil inside of the tube.
A specific fork tube puller tool is used to draw the fork tubes through the lower and upper fork yokes, then a large spanner can be used to secure the fork top nuts into the fork tubes.
